Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

For the construction of: The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Caldwell Hall Accessibility Upgrades This project consists of adding a new external stair tower and a new elevator to the existing Caldwell Hall building on its West Elevation. The trades involved include, but are not limited to, select demolition, site work to facilitate the new stair tower, erosion and sediment measures, earthwork, asphalt milling and paving, site concrete, pavement markings, building concrete, foundation drainage, concrete reinforcing, masonry, masonry reinforcing, structural steel, miscellaneous steel fabrications, rough carpentry, air barrier, modified bituminous roofing, metal composite wall panels, roof hatch, expansion joints and covers, caulking, storefront, drywall, thin set tile, resilient flooring, painting, high performance coating, toilet accessories, elevator, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and fire alarm. Note: There appears to be an alternate associated with replacing the existing VCT in the Corridors on the 1st and 2nd Floors. The State reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
