Ref. #: RFP25118 Question Deadline 03/28/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Questions through Online Portal The City of Fargo is seeking proposals for removal and replacement of two (2) sections of roof at the Public Works Building located at 402 23rd St N. Fargo, ND The project will entail the removal of an existing rubber membrane roof and replacing it with a fully adhered rubber roof. The removal and replacement are approximately 14,000 square feet. Work to be completed no later than Oct 1, 2025. Selection of a preferred firm will be based on qualification, previous experience with public projects, and cost of services. Project Overview Project Name: Fargo Public Works Garage Location: 402 23 rd Street North Fargo, ND 58102 Client: Fargo City Public Works Department Date: 03/20/25 2. Objectives Replace the existing roof system A & C. Inspect and repair the roof deck as necessary. Install a new roofing system as specified. 3.1. Preparation Obtain necessary permits and approvals. Set up safety barriers and signage around the work area. Protect existing structures, landscaping, and other property from damage. 3.2. Removal of Existing Roof Remove existing roof system and associated metal details from section A & C Dispose of all debris in accordance with local regulations. 3.3. Installation of New Roof Contractor to field verify measurements and details for this project. Install approx. 140 Sq. of Elevate 60-mil adhered EPDM roof system as per manufacturer's specifications. Install EPDM base flashing at all perimeters, mechanical units, penetrations, and roof to wall details as per manufacturer's specifications. Fabricate and install new prefinished counter flashing and wall cap at roof to wall details. 3.4. Clean-Up Remove all the tools, equipment, and debris from the site. Conduct a final inspection with the client to ensure satisfaction 4. Safety Measures Adhere to all OSHA safety standards. Provide necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for all workers. Ensure all workers are trained in safety procedures. 5. Timeline To be determined by owner 6. Warranty Provide a manufacturer's 20-year warranty. The City of Fargo reserves the right to reject all submittals.
