Site work and renovation of a civil project in Queen Charlotte, British Columbia. Completed plans call civil work for a water / sewer project.
The SBC is proposing to construct a new, 150 mm diameter, PVC watermain to connect a wastewater treatment plant to an existing watermain located within an adjacent industrial subdivision. The watermain will be approximately 300 m long, is primarily located within a forested area, and will cross three creeks. We also understand that the watermain will be constructed adjacent to an existing sanitary sewer force main, and that the proposed pipe invert depth is about 2 m beneath the existing ground surface. At present, the creek crossings are proposed to be constructed by trenching during periods where there is no flow within the creeks.
