Furnish and Deliver Liquid Asphalt Emulsion by Truck Transport Drops to Various Locations in Columbiana County All Contractors must be ODOT prequalified at the time of bid, award and for the duration of construction. The Columbiana County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids or proposals. This proposal consists of furnishing and delivering liquid cationic bituminous emulsified asphalt to job sites throughout Columbiana County as determined by the County Supervisor. All material shall be delivered at the specified temperature range designated by Columbiana County. Delivery shall be made in truck transport loads of a capacity that will conform to the amount of asphalt needed for each days work as determined by the County Supervisor. Bituminous material will be ordered in loads of between 5,000 to 6,000 gallons, shipping cost should be based on loads of 5,000 gallons. We reserve the right to order less as work and weather permit. In addition, the County reserves the right to terminate the purchase agreement based on unforeseeable events, including, but not limited to, "acts of God" (such as fires, earthquakes and floods), war, revolutions, and/or epidemics or pandemics, which render it impossible or impracticable for the County Maintenance Forces to perform the work. For County work, one, two or three tankers will be ordered on a daily basis. Townships and Villages will also be purchasing tankers throughout the summer, and therefore four or five tankers may be purchased on certain days. QA Deadline : 03/31/2025 08:00 AM CDT
