The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from Equipment Suppliers (ES) for major equipment pre-selection and Owner pre-purchase to be used for the Headworks Improvements Project. Proposals will be prepared and submitted along with the documents specified herein for the mechanical screening system and the grit removal system. The Owner will enter into contracts with the selected ES of each system for the purchase of the equipment, accessories, and startup services as specified in these documents. Question and Answer Period March 19 - April 15, 2025 Evaluation of Proposals April 18 - May 2, 2025 Issue Purchase Order for Equipment May 2025 (estimated) Completion of Project Bid Documents October 2025 (estimated) Release Project for Bidding November 2025 (estimated) Begin Construction January 2026 (estimated) Bidders should direct questions to Matt Tabor, PE at MLTabor@GarverUSA.com. Questions may be submitted until 5:00 P.M, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. The City of Starkville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the proposal accepted. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
