Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
Approximate quantities of some significant work items are: 75'x60' Clear Span Hangar: 1 L.S. Bituminous Surface Course:150 TON A proposal guaranty shall accompany each bid. The guaranty shall be either a bid bond (executed on the form furnished by the Owner), cashier's check, certified check, or other negotiable instrument equivalent to (5) percent ofthe amount of the bid, as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of his/her bid, execute the Contract and cause to be executed a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, acceptable to the Owner, within 10 calendar days following notice of contract award. Such proposal guaranty shall be made payable to the City of Stuttgart. The Bidder must supply all the information required by the proposal form. Women will be afforded equal opportunity in all areas of employment. However, the employment of women shall not diminish the standards or requirements for the employment of minorities. The City of Stuttgart reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities, exceptfor conditions affecting Executive Order 11246.
