Reference Number 0000289913 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/04/04 02:30:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No o select a supplier capable of performing the Supply of Chemicals, Monitoring of Water Treatment for Boiler Feed, Chiller, Cooling, Heating and Cooling Towers as detailed herein for the Physical Resources Central Services Department and other buildings on all our campuses. The services will be provided as defined and in accordance with the terms of this Proposal Call. It is UW’s intent to enter into a three (3) year agreement with the successful respondent. UW is looking to accomplish the following goals: Maintain the high quality of the water standards in clean heat transfer surfaces which are substantially free of scale, sludge, deposits settling in the bottom of equipment, corrosion and pitting controls, biological disease prevention and services currently in place on all equipment and systems, Maintain the consistency and reliability within the Plant Staff to ensure 100 % uptime Provide monthly service visits (both scheduled and unscheduled), Provide evidence that the water treatment program meets the established and proven standards (as requested or needed), Respond to emergency calls the same day and no longer than 24 hours, Providing consulting services on an as needed basis, Identify potential efficiencies and cost savings without compromising the current water standards, Provide on-site analyzing equipment and laboratory services, Yearly inspections, Reporting, Provide training to Plant Staff as required The University of Waterloo reserves the right to accept, or reject any insurance offered by the Successful Respondent. The Successful Respondent (if any) shall carry and maintain the following insurance requirements during the Agreement: (a) all such insurance coverage customary for the operation of its business including, but not limited to, commercial general liability insurance, including contractual liability, personal injury, completed operations, products liability, personal injury, cyber liability, property damage, including the University of Waterloo as an additional insured, with a minimum of five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) per occurrence limit; (b) the Successful Respondent shall also maintain a certificate of insurance of at least five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) in automobile/or non-owned automobile coverage; (c) no later than five days prior to the Starting Date of Services, the Successful Respondent shall provide University of Waterloo with a certificate of insurance evidencing such coverage; (d) when the Successful Respondent's insurance is renewed during the Agreement Term, the Successful Respondent shall provide a replacement certificate of insurance to the University of Waterloo immediately after the Service Provider's insurance is renewed; (e) the Successful Respondent agrees to give University of Waterloo thirty (30) days' prior written notice of cancellation of, material alteration in, or lapse of, such policy and does hereby assure University of Waterloo that such policy will not be invalidated with respect to the interest of the University of Waterloo by reason of any breach or violation by the Provider of any warranties, declarations, or conditions contained in the policy.
