The City of Brady (City) is seeking qualifications from state-registered architectural firms to provide professional design services for select renovation of Brady City Hall. Services will be procured in accordance with Chapter 2254, Subchapter A of the Texas Government Code (Professional Services Procurement Act). Project Overview This RFQ is to acquire professional architectural services for the general enhancement of the exterior of city hall and select interior renovations. The selected architectural firm will evaluate input from city staff and deliver design solutions to meet the goals and needs. Scope of Work The architectural services contract is intended to encompass the following: Compile City Staff Goals/Needs: Meet with city staff and discuss renovation scope. Evaluation of Options: Prepare viable renovation options for City Hall, offering expert insights and alternatives as necessary. Plan, Specifications & Estimates: Prepare proper plans with specifications of renovation scope and produce Opinion of Probable Costs (OPC). Scope of Services The selected firm will be responsible for the following tasks: a. Guidance in defining the final project scope. b. Development of final design plans, specifications, and OPC c. Preparation of bid packet. Responding firms must outline their approach and tasks for addressing each of the above elements in their proposals.
