The proposed contract consists of free growing and regeneration plot surveys across the Columbia Zone operating area. The contract also consists of planting quality and both herbaceous and manual cutting brushing quality surveys. Surveys are to be completed as per the most recent Silviculture Survey Procedures Manual. As such, dispersed retention data will also be collected during even aged free growing surveys and basal area included on the survey report. There are approximately 42 survey units totaling 798.74 hectares and approximately 807 plots. The Okanagan-Columbia 2018-2028 FSP commencing September 1, 2018, will be utilized for the term of the contract. All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.OkanaganColumbiaTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 4:00 pm on March 31, 2025. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to electronically by April 2, 2025.
