Site work for a civil project in Golden, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
This project consists of completing road grade stabilization, and tie in construction to existing bridge and deactivation of 7m x 34m open bottom arch culvert. This will include: Completion of geosynthetic reinforced road construction to tie existing road to the high chainage approach to new bridge, and minor road grading on the low chain approach to ensure final tie in. Removal of fill as per attached drawings. Removal and disposal of arch culvert steel, loose or scoured footings, hardware, and any materials in the backfill that would pose a risk to the public or environment if placed in waste piles. Completing revegetation of the site as per design and EMP. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca Award is subject to final approval.
