Site work and paving for a road / highway in Danbury, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of June 11, 2025. Project was awarded to Monarch Paving in the amount $217,207.88. The Town of Jackson is seeking sealed bids for surfacing over pulverized asphalt and compacted gravel on the length of Look Creek Trail, from Voyager Road to Swiss town line (.9 Miles). Exact length to be determined by contractor. This is a local roads improvement project #18520. Paved width shall be 20 feet and compacted blacktop surface is to be 2 1/2 inches thick. Pulverizing of existing asphalt surface, spreading base gravel and initial shaping has been performed by others. Contractor to perform final grading, compacting and moisture content control prior to applying hot mix (HMAC) surface. A completed engineer's certification must be furnished upon completion of all work. Surfacing work is to be coordinated with town representatives and must be completed by 15 August 2025. Bids are due on 14 April 2025, and will be opened at the monthly Town Board meeting beginning at 7:00 PM that evening.
