Reference Number 0000380807 The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites qualified MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, AND FIRE PROTECTION CONSULTANTS, licensed in the State of Florida, to perform MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, AND FIRE PROTECTION Services on Continuing Contract. This contract will be used for miscellaneous assignments not covered within the scope of a defined project. The consultant shall perform the following mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, project planning, CAD, and engineering management in addition to utilizing LEED Design principles and having LEED Accredited Professionals on staff. Questions are submitted online Yes Pursuant to FS 287.055 (CCNA), this contract will be used for miscellaneous Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing And Fire Protection services not covered within the scope of a defined project for services, including, but limited to, studies and reports, development of project scope, site plan development, drainage improvements, specifications and cost estimates, value engineering, and general consulting services. SCORING CRITERIA Proposers shall demonstrate that their team members have experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Services as it relates to development of Florida K-12 educational sites. Experience shall address aspects of building's systems development including but not limited to: Preparation of drawings and specifications for lighting and power distribution systems. Preparation of drawings and specifications for fire alarm system, communication and security systems. Understanding of short circuit calculations, power systems coordination, and Arc Flash Analysis. Preparation of drawings and specifications for buildings heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Preparation of drawings and specifications for buildings plumbing systems for water, gas, and drainage. Preparation of drawings and specifications for buildings fire protection systems. Familiarity with national and state codes and standards including NFPA, ADA, and Florida Building Code.
