Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Tigard, Oregon. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Scope of Work: Bond vote passed. The Tigard Tualatin School District is seeking written, sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide Architectural and Engineering Services. The scope of the project includes various school renovations throughout the district, as well as the complete replacement of a middle school. Funding for these projects is contingent upon the passage of a $421.3 million bond in the May 2025 election. The total project budget for the scope listed in this RFQ is approximately $250 million. As of October 14, 2025, an architect has been identified. Architect will be responsible for all the bond projects. District issued an RFP for a construction manager/contractor for the projects as well. Bids were due September 16, 2025. Notice of Intent to award expected October 21, 2025. Projects will include: - Replacement of Fowler Middle School. ($125-150M): Design August 2025-May 2027. Construction June 2027-August 2030. - 4 Elementary Major improvement projects ($25M each school): Barry Woodward & Byrom: Design August 2025-May 2027. Construction Summer 2027 and 2028. Durham & Bridgeport: Design August 2025-May 2028. Construction Summer 2028 and 2029. -updating elementary playgrounds across 9 of the 11 District elementary schools. - Summer 2026 has Tigard & Tualatin High receiving new exterior restrooms. - Summer 2026 also has a security project at Deer Creek Elementary
