It is the intent of the Boise School District to: construction of the repair items noted in the North Band Room Structural Report dated August 13, 2024. Items include installation of expansion joint materials to close separation gap between North Band room and main classroom building, repairing failed grout joints on back side of parapet, installing additional flashing on back side of parapet to protect brick from further deterioration. Documents will also include details for installation of structural helical pier supports of band room to prevent further settlement. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check on an Idaho bank, or bid bond, with Idaho State Licensed Survey Company, as surety, in an amount not less than 5% of total bid, made payable to the Independent School District of Boise City. This surety shall be forfeited by the Bidder in the event of failure to sign the contract or furnish the necessary 100% Performance Bond and the necessary 100% Payment Bond. No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receipt of bids unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any informalities, or to accept the bid or bids deemed best for the Independent School District of Boise City #1.
