**As of September 17, 2025, the project was awarded to Kiewit Infrastructure South Co., with an awarded amount of $3,934,635.86** The Contract provides for rehabilitation and reconstruction of approximately 1,600 track feet of existing tracks, abandonment of a single rail pit, replacement of two existing rail pits with jump span structures, modification of an existing tunnel to accommodate an opening for two new rail unloading pits, extension of an existing concrete tunnel to accommodate an additional two new rail unloading pits and ancillary lighting and electrical work. Question Deadline 08/07/2025 at 11:59 PM CT Change last bidder questions and clarifications received by Owner to be on Sunday, July 13th at 11:59:59 pm local time this project includes the work related to infilling the northern gypsum pit with the removal of the existing rail unloading pit and modifications to the southern gypsum pit for the addition of a rail unloading hopper.
