Site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Albemarle, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the addition of a 286-square-foot educational facility.
As of November 4, 2025, this project was canceled due to being over budget. Project consists of removal of existing structure, site prep and installation of new bleacher construction on new concrete foundation pad, concrete sidewalks and associated fencing. A. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT: The scope of the work included the contract included in the Base Bid Contract Documents may be described generally as follows: 1. Replacement of Kitchen Cooler / Freezer Unit (exterior location) B. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT: The scope of this contract included in the Base Bid Contract Documents may include portions of work generally described as follows: 1. Kitchen: (a) Removal & demolition of existing construction as required for new construction efforts. (b) Prepare for and place concrete foundations, steel support platform (c) Fabricate, Furnish & Install specified cooler ! freezer unit(s) complete with refrigeration equipment and flashing to existing. (d) repair and renovation former cooler location into storage area Submit bid security with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be with-drawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids.
