Site work for a water / sewer project in Columbia, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Columbia Utilities is contracting with a prime contractor for the completion of a stormwater/water main project. The project shall consist of construction approximately two hundred fourteen (214) feet of new stormwater conveyance and eight (8) new or reconstructed stormwater structures. Stormwater improvements on adjacent private properties shall be included. Additionally, approximately two hundred thirty (230) feet of water main shall be relocated. PERIOD OF SERVICE: Contractor hereby agrees to complete the work in the base bid described no later than eighty-three (83) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall agree to allow a deduction of two thousand ($2,000.00) per calendar day, from final payment as liquidated damages for each day that completion is delayed beyond said completion date established. Due to the proximity of Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School, construction shall be completed between May 22, 2025 and August 13, 2025. Documents may also be viewed on site at the office of the Purchasing Agent, 701 E. Broadway, 5th Floor, Columbia, Missouri.
