Demolition and site work for a residential development in Evans Mills, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Doc note: A partial refund of the plan deposit, in an amount equal to the full amount of such deposit, less the actual cost of reproduction of the Plans and Specifications shall be made to non-bidders and unsuccessful bidders for the return of all other copies of the Plans and Specifications in good condition within 30 business days following the award of the Contract or the rejection of the bids. The Owner further reserves its right to disqualify bidders for any material failure to comply with the Information for Bidders and General, Supplementary, and Special Conditions. The Town of LeRay is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to completely demolish a collapsed building located at the residence of 30429 CR 46 in Evans Mills, NY 13637 as detailed on the attached drawings and documentation prepared and provided by BCA Architects & Engineers. Please note, this demolition may involve the abatement and removal of asbestos containing materials. Please refer to the drawings attached for additional information. The demolition shall include the removal and proper disposal of the entire building and accessory structures. The contractor shall coordinate the shutdown and removal of all utilities serving the structure, including but not limited to potable water, sanitary sewer, electric, natural gas and communications. The contractor shall coordinate all work with the Town of LeRay and BCA Architects and Engineers. Work shall also include procurement and general requirements, administrative requirements, asbestos testing and abatement if encountered, site restoration, demolition (structure), grading, fill, landscaping - lawn, utilities disconnection, and all other work and related materials as indicated on the Contract Drawings, as specified herein, and as required for the complete and proper execution of the Work. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the Contract Documents and in compliance with all applicable Local, State and Federal Codes. Work under this Contract No. 1- BUILDING DEMOLITION may generally be described to include, but not be limited to the following: o Procurement and general requirements. The contractor is advised that he is responsible for the payment of Article 8 Prevailing Wage in accordance with the New York State Department of Labor Bureau of Public Work. o All contractors and subcontractors submitting bids or performing construction work on public projects or private projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law are required to register with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i, and submit Certificate of Contractor Registration with the bid.
