Town of LeRay (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Consolidated Water District Extension The Project includes the following Work: Construction of new watermains, appurtenances, water service lines, meter vaults, and installation of water meters to serve the Town's Consolidated Water District Extension. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Contract No. 1 - Pipeline Construction The Town of LeRay strongly encourages Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises and Section 3 firms to apply. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The request shall include the following information: company name, phone, fax, email address, physical address, confirmation of deposit and shipping charges ($15 check or a UPS/FedEx number). Bidding documents remain the property of the Engineer and must be returned in good condition within thirty (30) days after award of contract or rejection of bids. The selected bidder is not required to return the bidding documents. All refunds of deposits will be made only in accordance with the Plan Deposit Policy. The Plan Deposit Policy, Plan Holders List, Pre-Bid Estimates, and a list of Addenda, if any, may be found at online Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent through Syracuse Blue Print Company, 825 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, New York 13210. Copies are not available for pickup at the Issuing Office. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Any bid may be withdrawn without prejudice prior to the official bid submission time or any publicized postponement thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or defects in such bid either before or after opening. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project unless requested by prospective bidders. Instructions to Bidders. Domestic Preference This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58 70901-70953. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction material used in this project must be produced in the United States.
