Runway 15-33 is currently 7820 feet long, with a 500 foot stopway on the north end. This project will remove the stopway and extend the runway 1000 feet to the north and 500 feet to the south. The new runway 33 localizer has already been installed by FAA Technical Operations and only needs to be switched on.
