The Village of Newellton is seeking a qualified engineering firm or individual to provide engineering and related services for the Village's Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure Safety and Modernization Project, funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). The work includes replacement of existing steel and PVC gas mains with polyethylene mains, sewer lines, and related infrastructure as determined by the grant award from PHMSA. Scope of services includes preliminary analysis, preliminary and final engineering design, construction observation, and project implementation in compliance with PHMSA requirements. The agreement will be on a lump sum, fixed price basis, with payment terms to be negotiated with the selected offeror. Respondents will be evaluated on experience with similar and other federally funded construction projects, current capacity, and references concerning quality of work and compliance with schedules. Responses must be received by the specified deadline.
