The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to: Installation of approximately 1,300 linear feet of buried storm sewer main (various sizes). Installation of approximately 26 catch basins, and a CDS water quality pretreatment unit. Placement of approximately 1,500 tons of hot mix asphalt and 1,500 tons of crushed surfacing top course, to rehabilitate the existing pavement at Reservoirs 2 and 3 as well as provide full-depth repair of portions of the administration building parking lot. Installation of approximately 1,800 square yards of geotextile, and performance of crack sealing and fog sealing, as additional measures to rehabilitate the administration building parking lot. Trenching and installation of approximately 5,900 linear feet of conduit and appurtenances. Removal/abandonment of existing roadway and civil elements (including approximately 110 cable anchors and approximately 10 linear feet of roof drain asbestos pipe). Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall constitute offers to the District, which shall be binding for 60 calendar days from the date of bid opening. The District further reserves the right, but without obligation, to waive informalities and irregularities. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid guaranty (certified or cashier's check, surety bond, or postal money order) payable to Alderwood Water & Wastewater District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
