This contract provides for main-tenance of existing roadways in various locations in Edmonds. The work includes, but not limited to: pavement planing and removal, HMA paving, utility adjustments, property restoration, temporary erosion and sedimentation control, temporary traffic control, miscel-laneous work, temporary striping, and pavement markings. Plans, specifications, adden-da, bidders list and plan holders list for this project are available through the City of Edmonds on-line plan room. Free of charge access is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors and Vendors by going to online . This on-line plan room provides Bidders with fully usable on line docu-ments; with the ability to: down-load, print to your own printer, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources (on-line print order form), and a free on-line digitizer take-off tool. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount equal to at least five percent of the total amount of bid, includ-ing sales tax if applicable, must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and give a performance and pay-ment bond as required. The check will be given as a guarantee that the bidder shall execute the contract in conformity with the contract documents if it is awarded to him and shall provide a performance and payment bond as specified therein within ten calen-dar days after notification of the award of contract to the bidder. The City of Edmonds reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty calendar days.
