Site work for a mixed-use development in Edmonds, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
**As of June 27, 2025 this project was awarded to Diverse Earthworks, Inc for $1,438,555.40. The subject project is described in the Contract Documents and generally consists of: removal and replacement of Bioretention Planter 2 within the bus loop at the Madrona K-8 School. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form (Bid Form, Section 00 41 00). The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional payment and performance bond(s), as prescribed in the Contract Documents. The Edmonds School District encourages that the successful Bidder meet the Districts equity goals to utilize small, diverse, and veteran owned businesses at a rate that meets or exceeds Washington State guidelines. The district encourages a diverse project team, including those certified or registered as a WBE, MBE, SBE, DBE or Veteran owned business enterprise. A Community Outreach event for contractors will be held on May 7, 2025 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Edmonds School District, Educational Services Center. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any or no reason, to waive informalities and irregularities, to reject any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the project documents, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time not greater than 30 days from the date bids are due.
