Reference Number 0000381400 The Rye Town Park Commission (RTPC) is seeking proposals to make repairs to their asphalt parking lot at Rye Town Park on Dearborn Avenue in Rye, NY. Attached please find a map indicating the areas of interest and associated bid form. Attached are also technical specifications, insurance requirements, and an indemnification agreement as well as the following forms to be completed by all bidders: Contractor's Statement of Qualifications (References) New York State Department of Labor Contractor Registration Requirement Asphalt Patch Areas #1-4: Generally includes sawcutting clean edges, cleaning out loose material to a minimum depth of 2", and installing top course material to finished grade. Asphalt Patch Area #5: Generally includes sawcutting clean edges, removing concrete sidewalk slabs and concrete drop curb if encountered, cleaning out loose material to a minimum depth of 2" from adjacent surface, and installing binder and top course material to finished grade. Attached please find a map of the parking lot indicating areas in need of asphalt repair with approximate dimensions of repair areas. Please also see attached bid sheets. Spaces are provided for bidders to indicate lump sum prices for the repair of each area, work to be completed no later than May 16, 2025. The RTPC reserves the right to authorize the repair of as few as one (1) or as many as all five (5) repair areas depending on their budget and the values of the proposals received. Spaces are also provided for escalated lump sum costs for each repair area should the RTPC choose to defer such repair area to 2026. If work is deferred by RTPC to 2026 then the work may start no earlier than the opening of asphalt plants in spring 2026 and must be completed by May 15, 2026.
