Renovation of a swimming pool in Medfield, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.

This project is no longer moving forward. Soliciting bids for site and utility work associated with the installation of a modular building at Hinkley Swim Pond. SUMMARY OF WORK Design/Certifications by licensed architect/engineer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Full time site supervision. Review and approval of all construction drawings by the Awarding Authority and code enforcement officials prior to start of construction. Design and fabricate sectional modular units in accordance with all performance specifications set forth below, and in accordance with all program requirements and applicable building codes, handicapped accessibility codes, and fire and life safety codes; and all other applicable laws, regulations and bylaws. Supply, transport, erect and complete one (1) modular building unit a minimum of 2,880 sq. feet. Construction of foundation to adequately support the entire addition and as required meeting all applicable building codes. The Town has begun the process of obtaining site/stormwater plan approval by the Board of Health. It is expected that the successful proposer will assist with any permitting requirements for Zoning Board approval and any local permitting. Complete installation and assembly of modular units in accordance with all performance specifications in the RFP and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the building codes. Obtaining all use and occupancy permits. Finish grading and removal of all debris from the site. Clean and touch up floors, walls, hardware and glass at the completion of the job, leaving all surfaces clean and free from any paint, stains, splatters, smears, or smudges. All repairs and corrective work required by applicable warranties. Construct site built exterior decks and handicap ramp as required. Install finish building skirting. Connection to all existing utility services or to new services as required. Note that there is no natural gas on site, and the existing service on site is single phase 200 AMP. Restore construction area after completion of project including seeding disturbed areas as required. Poured concrete footings and pier to frost as required by Massachusetts code and sealed/stamped by a licensed professional. Design loads for the modular building unit will be in accordance with the National Building Code current edition. Must meet State and Local Building Codes and be ADA Compliance Requirements. Local conditions may require loads to increase or decrease slightly Erosion control during construction and removal of all rubbish from the site. Obtaining all permits required for the transportation of modular units. Obtaining review and approval of all plans by a licensed Third Party Inspection Agency as required for factory built portions or licensed professionals in the State of Massachusetts as required by the local code enforcement officials.
