The proposed contract requires three hundred and twenty-eight hectares (328ha) of mechanical deep ripping to create planting microsites on dry sites. This treatment will assist in the reforestation of harvested openings. The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.CaribooChilcotinTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 3:00 pm on April 10, 2025. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to electronic by April 16, 2025. If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above.
