Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work is as follows: the Mill & Overlay of approximately 53,199 SY of roadways known as Oak Street, Roman Drive, Hylair Drive, Floral Street, Hunter Circle, Amberly Lane, Karen Ave, Birch Lane, and Pratt Lane. Also included in this work is the replacement of approximately 36 Wheel Chair Ramps / Curb Cut replacements, approximately 45 catch basins, 13 drainage manholes, and associated HDPE drainage pipe. Question Deadline 04/14/2025 All questions by prospective bidders as to the interpretation of the Information for Bidders, Form of Proposal, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, or Bonds must be submitted in writing to the Town Engineer at the Municipal Office Building, Shrewsbury, at least Four (4) days before the date herein set for the opening of bids. estimated value of $1,635,770.83 will be required. Mass DOT prequal required-PAVEMENT-SURFACING Work to be performed under the awarded contract must be completed by June 30, 2026. Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
