Project no. 159676-291242 The City of Delray Beach, Florida ( "City") is seeking bids from qualified firms for the construction and testing of two deep injection wells and one dual zone monitoring well for the City of Delray Beach Florida, Class I Deep Injection Well System project, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation to Bid Construction. Construct two Class I industrial deep injection wells, one dual zone monitor well, temporary wellheads and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. The injection wells are identical and will have a 24-inch diameter final steel casing extending from land surface to 2,520 feet below land surface (bls) and a nominal 24-inch open hole to 3,200 bls extending from the base of the injection casing. A 16-inch diameter fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) injection tubing will be installed inside the 24-inch final casing extending from land surface to 2,510 feet bls and the annulus between the casing and the tubing will be grouted with neat cement. The injection wells will have the following casing program: o 54-inch diameter steel casing to 350 feet bls o 44-inch diameter steel casing to 990 feet bls o 34-inch diameter steel casing to 1,950 feet bls o 24-inch diameter steel casing to 2,520 feet bls o 16-inch diameter FRP tubing to 2,510 feet bls The injection well system will also include one dual zone monitor well (DZMW). The monitor well will be constructed within 150 feet of both injection wells. The upper monitor zone will have a 16- inch diameter steel casing extending approximately 1,620 feet bls. The lower monitor zone will have a 6-inch diameter FRP (Redbox 1250) casing extending approximately 1,850 feet.
