All questions to be emailed to Susan Bus, Purchasing Agent at slb@vniles.com five days prior to due date to allow sufficient time for a written response. AWARD OF CONTRACT A contract will be awarded to that responsible Firm whose proposal, conforming to the Request for Proposal, will be most advantageous to the Village, price and other factors considered. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, to waive informalities or technicalities in any Proposal, and to accept the Proposal which it deems to be in the best interests of the Village. BID DEPOSIT A bid deposit may be required, the amount of which shall be fixed by the Purchasing Manager but which shall not exceed five percent (5%) of the estimated cost of the work or material to be furnished, nor be less than the sum of twenty five dollars ($25.00). Such bid deposit shall be in the form of an electronic bid bond. If a bid deposit is required, it will be indicated accordingly on the front sheet of the bid.
