The purpose of this competitive sealed bid is to engage a qualified company to salvage any portion of North City School to reduce the overall cost to the city and then demolish the building and associated structures. The successful contractor will be expected to furnish all necessary labor, tools, equipment, and supplies to perform the required duties. North City School is a 45-year-old unused and vacant city-owned brick building consisting of 43,608 s.f. Map of the demolition area is attached. Payment and Performance bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price WILL be required at the time of final contracting.
