The Project Schedule will be issued via addendum. The contract will includeliquidateddamages assessed at $1,000.00/day if the completion date is not met. Successful Biddersarerequired to furnish a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bondfor thisProject. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waiveall informalitiesand/ortechnicalities where the best interest of the Owner can be served. Bid openingwill bepublic,andcontracts and direct purchase orders will be with the Owner. Bids will be due by APRIL 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM EDT, and will be openedat ESTILLCOUNTYBOARD OF EDUCATION, 253 MAIN STREET, IRVINE, KY 40336. Each bidmust beaccompaniedby a 5% Bid Bond. The bid will be submitted in duplicate on copies of the Formof Proposal locatedin the Volume One Project Manual Bidding and Contract Documents. Bothcopiesof theFormofProposal and Bid Bond shall be placed in a manila envelope and have theProject NameandProposed Bid Package number affixed. No Bidder may withdraw a bid submittedfor aperiodofsixty(60) days after the date set for the opening of bids.
