The project includes the installation of a storm sewer collection system to replace the existing roadside ditches along both sides of the right-of-way along Chuckanut Lane and through an existing drainage easement along the southern property lines of #2 Chuckanut Lane and 239 North Piney Point Road. The project also includes the asphalt reclamation of the existing asphalt pavement for the full length of Chuckanut Lane. Question Deadline 04/10/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the largest possible total for the bid submitted as a guaranty of completion of the forms provided by the City within 10 days after notice of award. Bid sureties will be returned to all but the three lowest acceptable bidders within 24 hours after execution of the contract The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, upon forms furnished by the City, each in the amount of 100 percent of the total contract price, from a surety company acceptable to the City of Piney Point Village. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all technicalities and accept any bid that it deems advantageous of itself. In case of ambiguity or lack of clarity in stating the prices in the bids, the City reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bids. Unreasonable or "Unbalanced" unit prices will be sufficient cause for rejection of any kind. In conformance with applicable statutes, the general prevailing wage rates in the locality in which the work is to be performed have been ascertained and such rates shall be the minimum paid for labor employed upon this project.
