Renovation of a military facility in Warrenton, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a has a requirement for Replacement of Flow Control Valves at the FAA Potomac Consolidated TRACON in Warrenton, VA 20187. An award for this requirement is anticipated to be made to the offeror with the lowest priced quote received on or before 22 April 2025 that can be determined fully responsive and responsible. SOLICITATION This is a competitive solicitation for a FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) contract. As such, any proposals received that take exception to the terms and conditions in this solicitation, proposes additional terms or conditions, or otherwise indicates within their proposal that their proposed pricing is not all inclusive of the FFP proposed, cannot be evaluated at face value in a competitive environment and will, therefore, be determined ineligible for a contract award. Any activities or costs associated with offerors proposal development and submission thereof is at the risk of the offeror and will not be reimbursed by the FAA. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. Project Requirements: 1.) Replacement of (24) flow control valves and associated actuators and positioners serving both the Chilled Water system and the Condenser Water system. Valve sizes range from 4" thru 8". Valve type are butterfly and ball. 2.) Removal and replacement/reconnection of control wiring at each device. 3.) Removal and replacement/reconnection of pneumatic piping/tubing each the device. 4.) Removal and replacement of exterior pipe insulation, where required. 5.) Removal and replacement of electric heat trace for piping, where required. 6.) Removal and replacement of interior pipe insulation, where required. 7.) Isolation of flow using pipe freeze method, where required. 8.) All staging, scaffolding and rigging, as required. 9.) The actual replacement of valves - where a disruption to chilled water or condenser water flow will be effected - shall be completed during off peak hours. Off peak hours are typically 10pm to 6am. Set up, prep work and breakdown can be accomplished during normal day shift hours. 10.)A pre-bid site visit is strongly encouraged. SITE VISIT A site visit has been scheduled for 8 April 2025 at 0900 local time. Please see Attach 7 Site Visit Information-Register Instructions for all information pertaining to the site visit. The estimated value of this project is between $475 - $550K.
