Associated Network Cabling Installation Spotsylvania County ("County") and Spotsylvania County Schools ("Schools") are seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide on-call associated network cabling to include fiber optic cable, copper and composite cable ("cables") both inside and outside plant installation and maintenance services as well as in plant installation of fiber optic and copper cable. The objective of this RFP is to establish a reliable, high-speed network infrastructure that can support current and future connectivity needs. Services will be performed on an as-needed basis to ensure optimal performance and scalability. The County and Schools will enter into separate contracts with the successful Contractor(s). The County and Schools reserve the right to award multiple contracts under this RFP to ensure adequate coverage and availability of services. Contracts may be awarded to multiple vendors based on service areas, expertise, and capacity to meet response time requirements. Any contract resulting from this RFP shall have an initial term of one (1) year from date of award and may be renewable for two (2) additional one (1) year terms at the options of the County and the Schools.
