Description

Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Dorchester, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

This is a Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) for the removal of the building located at 3508 Cape Road in Dorchester, New Brunswick. This site is being repurposed for a new Fire Station - the tender for which is currently out to tender with an anticipated construction start date of May 2025. The Municipality of Tantramar (Municipality) has been approached by numerous parties interested in potential buying the existing structure on the property and relocating same to another property. The purpose of this REOI is to request proposals for the all-inclusive removal of this building including site clean-up and disposal. Any hazardous material abatement, handling, and disposal as required to meet applicable regulations, is included however the Municipality is not aware of any hazardous materials present in the building. Any material disposal must be completed in accordance with any regulations, bylaws or requirements of the disposal facility and disposal on site is not permitted. Whether relocated or deconstructed, all works must be completed by May 16th.
