The Project includes the followingWork: 8" CIPP, manhole rehabilitation, removal & replace6" gravity sewer with 8" gravity sewer removal & replace 8' gravity sewer with new gravitysewer, manhole replacement,service lateral replacement, andall other related appurtenances. Bid security shall be furnished inaccordance with the Instructionsto Bidders. The Owner reserves the right towaive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids, and to awardthe contract to the best and mostresponsible bidder. All biddersshall submit, upon request, a listof projects "successfully completed"in the last 2 years, having thesame scope of work and approximate construction cost as specified in this project. All bidders mustcomply with the requirements ofthe Contractor's Licensing Law ofthe State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work on whichthe proposal is submitted. Eachbidder must deposit with his bid,security in the amount, form andsubject to the conditions providedin the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders bidding in amountsexceeding that established by theState Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensedunder the provisions of Title 34,Chapter 8, Code of Alabama,1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid willnot be received or consideredby the Engineer; the Bidder shallshow such evidence by clearlydisplaying the license numberon the outside of the envelope inwhich the Proposal is delivered. No bidder may withdraw his bidwithin 60 days after the openingthereof. Bidders will be fully responsiblefor the delivery of their bids in atimely manner.
