Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Fairbury, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project is briefly described as follows: Demolition of existing parking lot, Grading, Concrete and Asphalt Paving, paint striping and other items as shown on the signed plans. All work is to be guaranteed for a period of one year following final acceptance. Partial Payments will be made monthly on the basis of ninety percent of the amount of work done and materials supplied. Final payment will be made within thirty days after final acceptance of completed work. Envelopes containing the bids shall be sealed and must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidders Bond in an amount of not less than five percent of the amount of bid. The check or bond shall be made payable to Fairbury Public Schools, Fairbury, Nebraska as a security the bidder(s) to whom the award is made will enter into con tract to build the improvements bid upon and furnish the required bonds and insurance. Each successful bidder shall supply a performance bond and a payment bond executed by a corporate surety licensed in the State of Nebraska in the amount of 100 Percent of the contract price as part of his contract. The time for Substantial Completion shall be July 23, 2025, and Final Completion and readiness for final payment is set for July 31, 2025. Fair Fairbury Public Schools re-serves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive in formalities in bide bids submitted and whose Bid is in the best interests of the Project
