Detailed Scope of Work The City of Grants is seeking proposals from qualified construction companies for the construction of an expansion to the Grants Fire and Rescue Fire Station ("Project"). The Project will include the addition of two vehicle bays to the existing Fire Station Facility for Fire and/or Emergency Medical Services apparatus parking (Please refer to Attachment D). The Project will include site preparation with compacted blending structural fill. The new addition will be a 50' x 80' preengineered metal building on concrete slab with turn-down concrete foundation. Concrete driveways will be installed on both ends of the new addition. Additionally, the Project will include a new electric service separate from the existing Fire Station Facility's electric service to be installed as approved by the local electric utility. The Project will also include HVAC work of installing two ceiling-hung gas-fired space heaters in the new space. No air conditioning will be included in the Project.
