Lethbridge County ("the County") is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the supply and application of Liquid Calcium Chloride, or equivalent product, to be used for dust suppression. The County intends to award the supply and application of approximately 3,820,000 litres of product to a primary vendor, while a 1 mile section will be allocated to a different vendor for an alternative product as a test to evaluate performance and suitability for future use. It is the County's intention to award the RFP to two different vendors with different products, one for the Primary Dust Control, and another for the Alternative Dust Control. Vendors can submit a proposal for only the Primary Dust Suppressant or the Alternative Dust Suppressant, not both.
