The Jefferson County Board of Education and Purchasing Department will be accepting Request for Proposals (RFP) for "Jefferson County Schools Roof Improvements". Late bids will not be accepted, opened, or returned. If awarded, successful vendor is required to provide Affidavit of Compliance with Tennessee Criminal History Records Check, Affidavit of Compliance with Drug Free Workplace, general liability insurance policy, and workers compensation liability policy. Questions about substitutions must be submitted prior to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting held on April 2, 2025, at 10:00am ET. 1 A Bid bond equal to 10% of the bid is required on all construction bids as described in T.C.A. 62-6-129. 1.1.2 A Payment bond equal to 100% of a construction contract is required on all contracts above $100,000.00 as described in T.C.A 12-4-201. 1.1.3 A Performance bond equal to 100% of a contract is required on all construction contracts above $100,000.00. The awarded vendor(s) must provide performance bond from Surety Company before signing a contract Jefferson County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive and all irregularities in the receipt/handling of RFPs. The awarded bidder must be in good standing with the County of Jefferson.
