Site work and paving for a civil project in Berwyn, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Improvement consists of HMA surface removal; curb and gutter removal & replacement; alley pavement removal & replacement; sidewalk removal & replacement; driveway pavement removal & replacement; structure adjustments & replacement; combined sewer replacement; HMA surface course replacement; pavement markings; topsoil & sod; parkway restoration; and all appurtenant construction on Wenonah Avenue - Pershing Road to Ogden Avenue; Home Avenue - Pershing road to Ogden Avenue; Home Avenue - Pershing Road to Ogden Avenue; Clinton Avenue - Pershing Road to 37th Street; 38th Street - Clinton Avenue to Kenilworth Avenue. Execution and Prosecution of the Contract: This project is expected to be awarded on April 21, 2025, at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting. In order to expedite the project, the following amendment will be made to the execution and prosecution of the Contract, as found in the Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions: 1. The Contractor shall execute the Contract and furnish the Contract Bond and required Insurance within seven (7) calendar days after the Contract has been mailed to the successful Bidder. 2. The Contractor will start work within seven (7) days of the executed Contract.
