REBID Northern State Correctional Facility (NSCF) Fire Pump Replacement Project for Buildings and General Services at 2559 Glen Road in Newport, Vermont. This project consists of, but is not limited to: Scope of work includes the replacement and modification of the existing fire pump system and associated fire protection, electrical, and alarm components as indicated in the construction drawings and technical specifications, including but not limited to: 1. Replacement of the existing electric-driven fire pump with a new unit per drawing and specification. 2. Installation of a new jockey pump and associated components. 3. Demolition and modification of existing piping and equipment as required. 4. Reconfiguration of fire protection piping, valves, flow meter, and sensing lines. 5. Electrical and fire alarm modifications and reconnections. 6. Testing, commissioning, and startup of the fire pump system. 7. Preparation of submittals, closeout documentation, and training of Owner's personnel. QUESTION AND ANSWER PERIOD: Any vendor requiring clarification of any section of this RFP or wishing to comment or take exception to any requirements of the RFP must submit specific questions in writing to BGS.OPCVendorDocs@vermont.gov no later than 4:30 PM on October 7, 2026.
