Pavement Maintenance on various roads throughout the Borough including the following approximate quantities: 14100 S.Y. of 3.5" +/- Rotomilling and Profiling 720 S.Y. of Soft Spot Repair 1680 TONS of 2" of 19 mm Superpave Binder (0-0.3 ESAL's) 14100 S.Y. of 1.5" 9.5 mm Fine Grade Superpave Wearing Course (0-0.3 ESAL's) 190 L.F. of Concrete Curb Replacement 2880 L.F. of Bituminous Wedge Curb Replacement 17 EA. of Rebuilding Inlets Traffic Control Resident Notification and Restoration Add Alternate No. 1 - Woody Crest Drive Pavement Maintenance on Woody Crest Drive including the following approximate quantities: 1870 S.Y. of 3.5" +/- Rotomilling and Profiling 100 S.Y. of Soft Spot Repair 210 TONS of 2" of 19 mm Superpave Binder (0-0.3 ESAL's) 1870 S.Y. of 1.5" 9.5 mm Fine Grade Superpave Wearing Course (0-0.3 ESAL's) 50 L.F. of Concrete Curb Replacement 2 EA. of Rebuilding Inlets Traffic Control Resident Notification and Restoration. Bids will only be considered from Bidders that are pre-qualified in Whitehall Borough to perform paving work. Bidders that are not pre-qualified to date in Whitehall Borough should contact the Borough Manager for the requirements. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified as well as Certificates of Workmans Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond from a Surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania made to the order of Whitehall Borough in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or any part thereof for any reason and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein. Bidders are advised that Whitehall Borough will award the contract to the lowest responsible responsive and Whitehall Borough Pre-qualified Bidder for the listed work category based on the total bid submitted. However Bidders are advised that Whitehall Borough expressly reserves the right to reject all bids and specifically reserves the right to award to the lowest responsible responsive and Whitehall Borough Pre-qualified Bidder a contract for all or any portions of the work listed in the Proposal and in awarding a contract for less than the total work listed or less than all portions of the work listed the contract price will be determined from the total quantities for each item listed and the unit price bid for each item listed.
