The intent of this bid is to establish an annual purchase agreement for the purchase of citric acid for the City’s Membrane Water Treatment Plant located at 7296 Charter Oak Drive in Temple, Texas. The City anticipates an increase in usage from 12,000 gallons to 45,000 gallons per year. As a result, the City is conducting a re-bid process to secure more favorable bulk pricing. Questions Due Date: Apr 10th 2025, 12:00 PM CDT a. This bid will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. b. The initial term of the contract shall commence immediately upon award and continue through September 30, 2025. Prices shall remain firm for the duration of the initial contract period. The City reserves the right to extend the contract for 5 additional one-year periods, if mutually agreed to in writing by the City and the awarded vendor.
