Installation and Repair Services Broward County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any technicality in the bid documents, and to accept the bid which best serves the interest of the County. This solicitation has the following Broward County Business Enterprise Goal: 5 % CBE. Refer to the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements: CBE Goal and submit all required forms and information as instructed. SCOPE OF WORK The WORK to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing and installing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and furnishing all labor, transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and performing all work, or other operations required for installation and repair services, including repair and installation of water mains, sewer mains, lift stations, force mains, and appurtenances on an emergency basis within Broward County Water and Wastewater Services service area; all in accordance with requirements of the Bid Documents, Broward County Water and Wastewater Services "Minimum Design and Construction Standards" including all appurtenances thereto, and all costs of permits and cost of compliance with the regulations of public agencies having jurisdiction, including Safety and Health Requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor (OSHA). The work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services, not expressly shown or called for in the Bid Documents, which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work in good faith shall be performed, furnished, and installed by CONTRACTOR as though originally so specified or shown, at no increase in cost to the County. All other materials required in the performance of this Contract shall be the sole responsibility of the CONTRACTOR and shall be included in each bid line.
