Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Morganton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project involves the rebuild and replacement of a boardwalk system that was demolished with a previous project. The project will include the installation of new concrete foundation with helical piles, reinforced concrete retaining wall, concrete abutment, and concrete wingwall. Boardwalk will be constructed of plastic lumber for joists, decking, and railing. Railing panels are Weld Wire Mesh panels and steel post for railing. Grubbing and stump removal, erosion control, safety fencing, rip rap dissipator outlets, grassing, seeding, straw and matting. Other amenities include benches and chairs on deck, bike rack, removal bollards, bollard gates, lights, fence, fence gates, and landscaping.
