The City of Topeka is seeking to establish a contract with a provider of Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite 12% in bulk for the North Topeka Wastewater Treatment Plant. The material furnished shall be suitable for use in the disinfection of the wastewater treatment plant effluent. Bids shall be for furnishing twelve (12) month supply of Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite 12% in bulk for the period May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026. The estimated annual usage based on 2025 usage of bulk Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite 12% is 70,000 gallons. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities as needed throughout the terms of the resulting agreement period.
