The principal items of work to be constructed along with approximate quantities are as follows: Borrow Excavation: 212 Cu. Yd. Hot Mix Asphalt 19M64, Variable Thickness in Leveling: 515 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64, 2" Thick, Surface Course: 890 Tons Other Items Bid Checklist - Administrative Documents; Certified Check or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, provided said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 (twenty thousand dollars) nor shall it be less than $500.00 (five hundred dollars); Doc note: Bid packages can only be obtained electronically or by mail. Electronic copies of the bid package, at no charge, may be obtained by contacting the Engineer at the aforementioned phone number. Hard copies of the bid package may also be obtained by contacting the Engineer by phone or by mail and will be mailed upon receipt of payment of $80.00 for the cost of preparation, none of which is refundable. Prospective Bidders shall telephone at least twenty-four (24) hours, or at least one (1) business day, in advance to reserve Bidding Documents, Plans, and Specifications. Event bid note: addressed to the "Township Administrator" for the Township of Wantage and clearly marked on the outside "BID FOR PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO LAYTON ROAD - SECTIONS I & II" The Township Committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof. Estimated Busget: $315,000 to $345,000
