Scope: The purpose of this Request for Bid is to seek qualified Contractors who can provide rock drilling and blasting services. Contract(s) will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) based on price, product quality and availability. Question Deadline: 4/23/2025 City response to Questions: 4/25/2025 Questions are due by 3 pm on the date included in the Calendar of Events section. Questions can be submitted to Brandon Snow, Senior Buyer, via email to BSnow@cityoftacoma.org Anticipated Award Date, on or about: 6/2/2025 Contract terminates on October 15, 2025. The contractor must have the project completed by November 1, 2025. For a supply-type contract, a certified cashiers check or cash may be substituted for the bonds; however, this cash or check must remain with the City through the guarantee period and any interest on said amount shall accrue to the City. If a payment and performance bond is stated herein, the required bond including power of attorney, will be 100 percent of the Contract total and is subject to the following requirements. Tacoma Water reserves the right to reject any or all bids and also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to waive irregularities deemed by Tacoma Water to be immaterial.
